CIRCUIT TRAINING involves a series of exercises with specific cardio and strength intervals with little rest between sets. Repetitions are high or the circuit is repeated several times to challenge the cardiovascular system, develop tone and some strength. It is useful on an individual basis to develop overall fitness and is utilized in sport training with sport specific drills.
