Our Philosophy
Body by Design Personal Fitness Training began 6 years ago with the goal in mind to educate others about fitness for weight loss/gain, sport performance, specific goal achievement, general health and vitality. With 25 years experience in the fitness industry, from one-on-one training, group classes, to sports related training and coaching, clients have reached their desired results. Anything can be achieved with a well planned approach. You could say the sky is the limit as demonstrated by clients achieving their first climb on Mt. Kilimanjaro, completing their first 10 km run, reaching peak game form to win tournaments, losing weight, completing an Iron Man event, training for marathon or simply feeling younger and energetic again.
Lifelong fitness and nutrition is an integral part of a balanced, healthy lifestyle for "every" "body". Through customized health and fitness programs you can feel great, increase your energy and achieve optimum performance. Effective and efficient workouts ensure your time is well spent in the training "zone" you should be in, while you have fun along the way.
Body by Design Personal Fitness Training delivers training/consultation on site in my studio and/or off site at your location (home, rental space, corporate space, schools, outside). Training is delivered by expert trainer, Barbara Crawford and/or associates you can view on "About Us" and "Links"
An in depth initial assessment is the foundation for all programs. We use this information time and time again to record change. Success is measured by reviewing strength, flexibility, body composition, heart rate, energy levels, health, performance, stress management and body image.
